| While the Jets
enjoyed a 13-yard edge in yardage, the averages and the turnovers tell
the true story. Namely, the Colts were clearly superior, but had been
burned badly by being -2 in turnovers. Additionally, Earl Morrall had
had a miserable first half, completing only 5 of 15 with those three damning
interceptions. It was by far the MVP of the NFL's worst day of the season.
